ABSTRACT
The Future Immersive Training Environment (FITE) provides military instructors with an increased set of enablers to train close combat tasks in a realistic fully immersive cross cultural training environment that creates and reinforces complex decision making skills. Effective decision making under these conditions comes from cognitive dominance which enables the agile leader and high performing unit to maintain situational understanding and work inside the enemy's decision cycle to defeat that enemy.
