Acne scars among Asian patients do not vary much from • the classical clinical acne scars seen worldwide. Postinflammatory hyperpigmentation as sequela of acne • is more disturbing among Asian patients. Acne scars cause much distress not only to the patient • but to the family as well. Prevention of acne scars rests on early and adequate • management of acne.
