ABSTRACT
The defi nition of surrounding in the context may be extended from within an organization to the global system. There are no references present; however, the following defi nitions include seven new defi nitions marked “N” and a number of changes to the existing defi nitions. The defi - nitions changed from ISO 14001:1996 to ISO 14001:2004 are marked “C” within parentheses.
