ABSTRACT
APPLICATION In 2003, a new powder handling installation was installed at the chemical production site in Geel, Belgium. This installation was used to obtain the correct particle size distribution for the most potent drugs manufactured at the site. It had a handling capacity of several dozen tonnes of product annually. Initially, approximately 30 different products were processed with the new installation.
