ABSTRACT
Principles of quality management taught us a valuable lesson. If things do not get meas ured, they do not get done. Metrics provide us with a lens through which we can quantify activity and see events and behaviors that occur within our work environments. The data generated from various metrics can help us prioritize and execute in areas where we see loss occurring.
