ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT This research work is dedicated to occupational health problems caused by ergonomic risks of employees working in sewing industry. These problems mostly are associated with pain in neck, shoulders, arms, hands (NSAH) region. Stress can also cause excessive muscle tension and that leads to risk of NSAH complaints. Hence the early work rehabilitation is necessary in order to avoid absence of longterm illness. The aim of this study was to investigate the NSAH muscles fatigue for

sewers using myotonometry and estimate the efficiency of the early multidisciplinary rehabilitation, which consisted of various physical activities and autogenic training. The investigation including rehabilitation program was done in the one year period and with focus on the sewers who suffered from chronic and repetitive pains ofNSAH.
