ABSTRACT

Investigation of dynamic foot shape was performed using a mUltiple scanner assembly (ViALUX, Germany) based on fringe projection technology. Five synchronized camera - projector systems were used to capture the entire foot during walking (4.5 km/h) of 144 subjects. With this measurement technique, the foot could be captured at a 3D - frame rate of 21 to 49 fps under natural walking

conditions. Significant and practical relevant changes during the stance phase of gait were determined whereas differences between static and dynamic values were not significant.
