ABSTRACT
The structural response of a masonry existing building to seismic actions is strongly affected by many parameters, such as the plan distributions, the texture and the quality of the masonry walls, the plan regularity, the distribution and the size of the openings, the characteristic of the floor and the interconnection between vertical and horizontal elements.
