ABSTRACT
A “linearization” process has been carried out on the architectural plan of the churches, in order to simplify the geometrical description and the subsequent modeling without significantly altering the structural characteristics of the building (columns and walls sections). From these “linearized” plans, shown in Figure 4, the church macro-elements are extracted and labeled with L (for the longitudinal direction) and T (for the transversal direction).
