ABSTRACT
Wetlands exhibit a variety of conditions that may not be easy to identify and characterize. Conditions may require application of methods that supply detail beyond those in previous chapters.
The following methods and considerations may be helpful in a variety of situations (Figure 5.1). Their implementation, along with intermediate-level examples of methods, will facilitate the assessment of wetlands and their variable characteristics.
