ABSTRACT

The key success factor to the cloud process is whether the end users can access and use their data. In 2012, industry analysts expect that more than ten percent of corporate mailboxes will be using cloud. Shareable content, shared folders, SharePoint, and similar content management are much the same as e-mail in regards to unfettered data growth. The incoming data arrives at a high rate, the arrival rate is increasing at an alarming rate, and once the data arrives it never seems to go away. There are techniques to reduce in-house e-mail expenses: limiting mail box sizes, pushing archives to local personal computers (PCs), and automating local PC backup is one tried-and-true method.
