ABSTRACT
The objectives of this chapter are to present driver vision models and discuss their applications for assessing driver’s visibility-related problems encountered during the vehicle design process. The problems covered in this chapter are determination of (a) visibility of targets under headlamp illumination, (b) legibility of displays, and (c) veiling glare caused by sun re¤ections.
