ABSTRACT

This chapter presents four group or team -based quality problem solving techniques. These techniques are generally used by quality team s or w ork groups to identify problems in both production and science oriented environm ents, analyze them, contain them and elim inate or resolve them . The four technques are the Problem Resolution M odel, first introduced to corporate environm ents in 1993, the Nom inal G roup Technique, the Q uality Error M apping tool and the Q uality Error R em oval technique.
