ABSTRACT
An alternative method of corrosion prevention is to screen the steel itself from the concrete and thus from the aggressive medium. This can be achieved by different techniques such as employing non-reactive metal or resin coating, painting or applying a coating of cement slurry that may incorporate anodic corrosion inhibitors.
