ABSTRACT
Since its foundation in 1989, the AGI has had a clearly focused mission to spread the benefits of geographic information and GIS to the wider community and to help all users and vendors of GIS. Over the past twelve months, the AGI has continued to make major contributions to many of the key issues of concern to the GIS community.
