CHAPTER9 Sound Radiation by Products and Its Measurement This chapter considers sound radiation from the vibrating surfaces of a product. The principal parameter to be determined is the dynamic radiation efficiency, introduced in the last chapter. The dependence of this parameter on structural geometry, materials, and assembly is a prime element in design for SQ.
