Sources of Prescribed Force: Electromagnetics, Airflow, Combustion, and Impact

This chapter discusses mechanisms that tend to have rather high internal mobility so that they are described primarily by the blocked force that they apply to other parts of the product. As before however, we must continue to remember that this categorization is an idealization, and there may be cases where the internal mobilities of such sources are comparable to the loads that they encounter.
