ABSTRACT

Big data analytics has become one of the emerging research frontier areas for innovation, competition, and productivity (Manyika et al. 2011). The key aspects that are needed to establish a big data infrastructure are data, compute infrastructure, storage infrastructure, analytics, visualization, and security and privacy. The issues of storing, computing, security and privacy, and analytics are all magnified by the velocity, volume, and variety of big data (Murthy et al. 2014).
