ABSTRACT

In engineering practice, apart from visualization via streamlines and surfaces, two fundamentally different methods of transport evaluation are currently employed:

1. Method of the differential relations 2.Method of the integral forms

In what follows, we will discuss the fundamental principles and relationships of those methods in light of their applicability in the study of transfer of entropy, electrical charges, and mass through a solid wall being a component of facade structures. At the same time, detailed basic equations will be designed to treat one-(1D), two-(2D), and three-dimensional (3D) envelope components (Dimitrov 2013).
