ABSTRACT

It is shown that the internal structure of the host polymer affects the process of AgNPs formation in aqueous solution. Branched polymer matrices are much more efficient for in situ silver colloid synthesis and stabilization of NPs in comparison with linear one at pH = 7-7.3 and pH = 12. The high value of pH is more appropriate for the reduction process by using ascorbic acid for obtaining silver colloids in anionic polymer matrices.
