ABSTRACT

A variety of studies on solid-waste management in developing countries have been conducted in recent years. Some researchers have looked at the influence of education to waste management [1]–[3], while others have investigated policy making for waste management in specific areas or countries [4]–[8]. Health and risk considerations around waste management have also been the focus of studies [9]–[12], while current systems of waste management in particular areas or countries have been analyzed [13]–[16]. Finally technology and engineering in waste management have discussed by some [17]–[19].
