ABSTRACT
Abstract: Reactive H-E (highly exhaustive) dyes are bi-functional and the reactive groups are located throughout the structure compared to conventional reactive dyes where two reactive groups are located side by side. This, in turn, impairs hydrolysis and imparts stability enabling to carry out dyeing even at high temperature in jet dyeing machine for dyeing of polyester-cellulosic blends. Dyes possess good fastness with full hue and shade range. Levelling is excellent with higher exhaustion rate as well as tinctorial value.
