ABSTRACT
Abstract: Identification of dye is important keeping in view that reproduction of dyed textile is doing well in the market or is based on customers demand. The piece of dyed specimen supplied to the sales section is forwarded to dyeing department to reproduce it – which requires to be analysed – to ascertain dye class applied on it earlier. A series of experiments are to be performed to reach to the conclusion. This chapter describes tests those are to be conducted on dyed specimen.
