ABSTRACT
In chemistry and in chemical technology often one uses such notions like: macromolecules, polymers, synthetic materials, plastics and elastomers. They have similar means but they are not synonyms.
Macromolecules are substances with a very large molecular mass, of linear structure or forming a special network. Sometimes it is difficult to give their chemical structures because the particular elements forming them exhibit an unrepeatable structure.
