ABSTRACT
Grasses are very difficult to identify and generally they are identified on the basis of their inflorescences. The grass flower mature into the fruit called caryopsis. Generally Gramineae fruits, also called as grains, can usually be considered also as seeds. Morphological both micro and macro morphological features are known to serve as a diagnostic character specific to the species and is of great taxonomic value.
