ABSTRACT
The correlation between the polishing ability and the shape of particles was detected. It is established that adding fluorine to samples significantly affects the morphology and dimensional characteristics of REE oxides solid solution based on CeO2. The hypothesis about the positive influence of high content of CeO2 in a solid solution on the polishing ability of the material has not been confirmed.
