ABSTRACT
The duration of a normal cell cycle has not been accurately defined but requires sufficient time for DNA replication and cytokinesis. Extremely short cell cycles, therefore, could result in incomplete DNA replication, which may be associated with an unequal distribution of DNA to blastomeres.
