ABSTRACT
The science of statistics provides the means of dening the populations with variability and the methods for estimating the population quality from observed samples. The generalization of population quality is feasible for both products and services. The most commonly utilized statistical methods used are as given in Table 12.1 (adapted from Krishnamoorthi 2006).
