ABSTRACT
Ecotoxicity tests that have been used during the course of statutory risk assessment of environmental chemicals were described in Chapter 2. In many of them the endpoint is lethality, in order to obtain values for median lethal dose (LD50), median lethal concentration (LC50), etc. Tests have also been employed that work to nonlethal endpoints. Ecotoxicity data of this kind can be employed to estimate risk.
