ABSTRACT
A source sampling experiment provides data on source emissions parameters. The isokinetic source test extracts a representative gas sample from a gas stream. Although often used only to determine compli ance with emissions regulations, the test data can also provide information useful in evaluating control equipment efficiency or design, process economics or process control effectiveness. Valid source sampling experi ments, therefore, yield valuable information to both the industrial and en vironmental engineer.
