Cutaneous dysesthesias or pain syndromes associated with psychological factors are characterized by pain, which is a predominant manifestation of the disease and is reported by the patient as clinically significant and causes suffering or professional and social detriment. However, the pain cannot be explained by a somatic disease or a psychiatric disorder1. Among them, vulvodynia has been most widely studied.
