ABSTRACT
Since uids are everywhere, humans have always been fascinated by them and also feared them. Not only humans by the way. ink of beavers and their dam-building capabilities. No wonder they have a beaver on the logo of the University of Toronto where I got my PhD degree in computer science (see Figure 2.1).
