ABSTRACT

The hierarchical structure implies relationship and mutual dependence. Textiles obviously have such a structure, as textile materials (fibers, filaments) determine the properties of the threads (staple yarns or polyfilaments), which, in turn, determine the properties of the fabrics (of course, there are other factors, as well, i.e., the manufacturing parameters). Fabrics, as end products of the textile industry, determine to a great extent the properties of apparel or behavior of textiles in the indoor environment.
