Experimental Investigation of the Macrostructure of Upholstery Textiles

In its annual document for standards and guidance to producers and consumers of furniture fabrics (woven and knitted), Joint Industry Fabric Standards Committee (1994) listed a series of standards and requirements, but none of them concerned thermophysiological comfort provided by this type of textiles. Similar document, issued in 2009, again contained no such requirement (Anon 1994).
