ABSTRACT
Woven fabrics are produced by interlacing of warp threads (located along the fabric) and weft threads (square to the warp threads). The threads are separated from each other by technological reasons: the reed beating and the position of the warp on the weaving machine (Lord 1959). As a result, voids are formed between the warp and weft threads.
