ABSTRACT

Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a powerful modern tool for solving engineering problems of different essence, whose physical nature involves fluids. The investments in terms of developing specialized CFD codes or purchasing licensed CFD software packages and training to work with them are great, but CFD has significant advantages over the experimental studies, which can be summarized as follows:

• The numerical analysis is based on a correct mathematical model of the flow, represented by a system of nonlinear partial differential equations.
