ABSTRACT
Standing repulsion provides an alternative to general anesthesia and surgical removal. It requires good regional nerve blocks and sedation. Intraoral radiographs assist in punch placement and complete tooth removal. This procedure is indicated when teeth are fractured or shortened due to excessive wear, or when fractured or retained root tips occur after intraoral tooth extraction.
