ABSTRACT
In treatment of diseased infundibula, thorough debridement of the affected area is important. In many cases the volume of decayed tooth material is much greater than clinically evident on initial examination. Thorough debridement assists in creation of a strong bond between the tooth and restorative material. The result is maximum strength and ability of the restored tooth to withstand mastication forces.
