ABSTRACT

This chapter presents the immune danger theory-based ensemble (DTE) method for spam detection, in which signal I, danger signal, and danger zone are designed for machine learning task by mimicking the mechanism of danger theory (DT) [247]. After a brief introduction of the related background, three main steps of the DTE method-generating signals, classification using signals, and self-trigger processesare described. Then the framework and further analysis of the DTE method are given. Finally, the experimental validation is shown.
