ABSTRACT

This chapter presents the Artificial Immune System (AIS) based spam filtering system and its implementation way in the real world [194]. After a brief introduction, the integral framework of the AIS-based spam filtering model is described, which is mainly constituted by feature construction, e-mail classification, and classifier updating with the techniques introduced in the previous Chapters 4-6 and 11-12. Then we give an overall cognitive of the Postfix e-mail server based implementation way. The detailed implementation factor are then described one by one, including design of milter-plugin, maildrop-based local filter, user interests-based parameter design, and user interaction. Finally, the test and results analysis are displayed.
