ABSTRACT

Horseradish is a crucifer plant (family Brassicaceae) cultivated for its leaves and fleshy, white, pungent roots that are processed into the horseradish condiment. Horseradish is propagated from root cuttings. This plant is probably native to southeast Europe and western Asia. Horseradish has escaped from cultivation and become widely naturalized in Europe, North America, and New Zealand. Fungicide recommendations exist for some of these diseases in some countries.
