ABSTRACT

Project control is an ambivalent topic: everyone recognizes its importance but few apply it effectively. Unfortunately, the consequences for projects are clear to see.

All aspects of a project should be controlled: the solution created by the project must comply with the contractual requirements, the project must be completed on schedule, there is a budget to respect, there is an economic margin to achieve, the end users must be able to see for themselves the advantages offered by the new solution, customer satisfaction should be assured in all cases, and the people working on the project must benefit personally.
