ABSTRACT
Dynamic modeling of optical transmission systems is very important in the ultra-highspeed optically ampli—ed communication systems. Systems operating at bit rates above 40 Gb/s require detailed and accurate modeling. Therefore, the modeling of the Raman gain ampli—cation must be integrated into the propagation of modulated optical signals over the models of multispan transmission link.
