ABSTRACT

Materials with components less than 100 nm in at least one dimension are called nanomaterials. Nanoparticles have significant effects like surface effects, size effects, quantum effects, and so on. Nanocomposites usually exhibit improved properties like stiffness, enhanced transparency, toughness, increased scratch, abrasion, solvent, and heat resistance compared to traditional materials. Nanotechnology involves the use of nanomaterials and biotechnology in various fields (Preeti et. al., 2011).
