ABSTRACT
The purposes of this chapter are to discuss the behavior of ¡uids while they are ¡owing, to present a unied mathematical approach to solving ¡uid ¡ow problems, and to derive the basic equations of ¡uids mechanics. The continuity, momentum, and energy equations are derived for a general case. The Bernoulli equation is developed from the momentum and energy equations.
