Recently, the evolution of mobile cloud computing (MCC) has attracted significant attention from both academia and industry. Similar to networking and machine-to-machine communications, it is more and more considered as a critical method to power and boost the CPS. In this chapter, we will discuss state-of-the-art MCC research activities that aim to enhance the capabilities of resource-constrained smart devices in CPS sensory environments.
