ABSTRACT
Lossless image compression finds applications in medical imaging, industrial applications such as nondestructive testing, satellite imaging and remote sensing, real-time applications, document management systems, image archiving, HDTV, and in applications where image quality after decoding and reconstruction is very good, or no loss of information is expected.
