ABSTRACT
The objectives of this chapter are to highlight the impact of biochar amendments on SOC storage and to examine biochar production methods, feedstock properties, and the relationship between biochar-C chemical structures and SOC storage. The focus is on biochar-C stability as it relates to SOC storage potential in soils under different management systems.
