ABSTRACT

The antiperspirant/deodorant market in the United States is considered to be mature, with the majority of the adult population using products regularly, and women the greater users. A recent study (1) showed that over 90% of the male and 94% of the female U.S. population had used an underarm product at least once in the previous week. In European countries product usage ranged from 54%, for males in France, up to 88%, for females in the United Kingdom.
