ABSTRACT
Figure 6.1 illustrates various steps in the experimental setup, data collection, and signal processing required for vibration analysis experiments. The experimental setup and instruments are discussed in Chapter 5. This chapter deals with the signal data analysis commonly used in vibration analysis and diagnosis. This includes the concept of time domain signals, filtering, and data analysis in both the time and the frequency domain.
